WELCOME TO BRACKENVALE & GLENMORE
Bleeding gums - either spontaneously or on brushing. Sore, red or inflamed gums. Painless or painful. Bad Breath. (These will always be indications of gum disease)
Pain
- in the jaws, radiating to the face
- in the bone around the teeth
- on biting
Sensitivity to hot, cold, sweet.
(These may be indications of tooth problems)
Lost crowns - these should be KEPT IN POSITION if at all possible - the gum may grow over the tooth or the other teeth may move together preventing accurate re-seating of the crown.
Broken fillings or tooth - obviously restorative Treatment will be necessary. Anyone with pain who phones before 10.00 am will be offered an Appointment on the same day, at a time when there may have been a cancellation. Otherwise, the Patient will be fitted in between other Patients.
If it is just, say, a broken tooth, which is not hurting, the Receptionist will offer the first available appointment on the same day or the next couple of days.
Please do not ask the Receptionists about your Treatment - they are not qualified to discuss Clinical matters! Only the Dentists and Hygienists are qualified to discuss your Treatment.
